Special Order made by Ohinemuri County Council declaring
Sections 121 and 131 of the Counties Act, 1920, not to apply
to that Council.
THE following special order made by the Ohinemuri
County Council is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Counties Amendment Act, 1931.

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2 of
the Counties Amendment Act, 1931, the Ohinemuri County
Council resolves and declares by way of special order that
sections 121 and 131 of the Counties Act, 1920 (as to levy
of general rates separately in ridings, and as to apportionment
of income, &c.), shall not apply to the Ohinemuri County
Council.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri was hereto affixed
this 11th day of February, 1937, in the presence of--
W. MARSHALL, Chairman.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a special
order passed at a special meeting of the Ohinemuri County
Council held on the 10th day of December, 1936, and con-
firmed at the ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the
11th day of February, 1937, and that the said special order
has been duly made.

Notice to Persons affected by Application for License under
Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
I HEREBY give notice that the undermentioned applica-
tions have been received for licenses to retail petrol for
(a) a pump to be installed in a used car showroom next the
De Luxe Theatre Building in Kent Terrace, Wellington;
(b) a transfer of a station from a position near the intersection
of High Street and Melling Road, Lower Hutt, to the corner
of High and Brunswick Streets, Lower Hutt.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by
the decision of the Bureau in respect of any of these applica-
tions, and who wishes to make representations accordingly,
must make such representations in writing to the under-
signed prior to the 18th March, 1937.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received
for a license to erect a petrol station in Fitzherbert
Avenue, Palmerston North.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by
the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and
who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish
such representations in writing to the undersigned prior to
18th March, 1937.

of one pump at a garage in Pokeno.

the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and
who desires to make representations accordingly, must
furnish such representations in writing to the undersigned
prior to 18th March, 1937.

I HEREBY give notice that applications for licenses to
retail petrol have been received for (a) a new station at
the junction of Remuera Road and Broadway, Newmarket,
Auckland ; (b) a new station at the junction of Beach and
Breakwater Roads, Auckland ; (c) a new station at the junc-
tion of Kohimarama and Waterfront Roads, Kohimarama,
Auckland; (d) the installation of a pump in a garage at
Silverdale; (e) the installation of an electric pump in place
of a portable pump at a combined store and cabaret at Beach
Haven, Birkenhead, Auckland.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by
the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish such representations in writing to the undersigned
prior to 18th March, 1937.

Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
I HEREBY give notice that the following applications
for licenses to retail petrol in respect to the Hawke's Bay
District have been received for (a) a new station to be erected
at the Farndon Park Corner, Clive ; (b) a new station to be
erected near the Farndon Park Corner, Clive; (c) a new
station to be erected on a site situated approximately
one-quarter of a mile from Heretaunga Street on the Main
South Highway leading into Hastings ; (d) a new station to
be erected in Heretaunga Street, between Hastings and
Warren Streets, Hastings ; (e) a new station to be erected at
Fernhill; (f) a new station to be erected at the corner of
Dickens and Dalton Streets, Napier; (g) a station at the
corner of Kennedy Road and George's Drive, Napier; (h) a
new garage to be erected on the corner of the Main Taradale
and Avenue Road, Greenmeadows; (i) a transfer of a pump
from the yard of C. H. Cranby and Co., Ltd., Breakwater
Road, Napier, to a position near the road; (j) an installation
of four pumps at a garage at 110 Waghorne Street, Port
Ahuriri; (k) a new station in course of erection at Eastbourne
Street, Hastings; (l) an installation of an additional pump
in the garage of Thompson Motors, Ltd., Karamu Road,
Hastings.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by
the decision of the Bureau in respect to any of these applica-
tions, and who wishes to make representations accordingly,
must furnish such representations in writing to the under-
signed prior to 25th March, 1937.

in respect to (a) a transfer of two pumps from a garage and
service station in Clevedon Road to a new site on the Great
South Road; (b) the remaining pump in the garage and
service station in Clevedon Road.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by
the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and
who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish
such representations in writing to the undersigned prior to
18th March, 1937.
