RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Stratford Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the Stratford Borough Council Public Baths Loan of £3,500, 1936, authorized to be raised by the Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the construction, erection, and equipment of public swimming-baths in the borough, the Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 13/64th of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Stratford, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Stratford Borough Council on Monday, the 15th day of February, 1937.

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the Stratford Borough Council Electrical Works Extension Loan of £5,000, 1936, authorized to be raised by the Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing additional plant and equipment for the erection and construction of additions to the Council's reticulation for the supply of electricity within the borough, the Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 19/64th of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Stratford, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Stratford Borough Council on Monday, the 15th day of February, 1937.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

In the matter of the Partnership Act, 1908, and in the matter of the partnership lately subsisting between LEONARD WILLIAM SMITH and ALUN TYLER-DAVIES under the style of "Smith and Davies."

WHEREAS we, Leonard William Smith, of Tauhoa, Farmer, and Alun Tyler-Davies, of Kaipara Flats, Contractor, have lately engaged in business in partnership under the style of "Smith and Davies." Take notice that we have mutually agreed to dissolve the said partnership as from the date hereof. The business lately conducted by the said partnership will be continued by the said Alun Tyler-Davies, trading as "Smith and Davies," but on account of the said Alun Tyler-Davies only and not in partnership as aforesaid.
