Portions of a Road in the County of Waitaki exempted from the
Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928,
subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day
of February, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Waitaki County Council on the
eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-six, viz. :—
“ The Waitaki County Council, being the local authority
having control of the roads in the Waitaki County, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the north-western side of the road abutting on the
south-eastern boundary of Section 115, Block III, Papakaio
Survey District, and to both sides of such road intersecting
Section 125, said Block, owned by David Borrie of Papakaio,
Farmer ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions
of road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of
thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portions of
road.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-western side generally of all that portion of road,
situated in the Otago Land District, County of Waitaki,
fronting Section 115, and part Section 125, Block III, Papakaio
Survey District, marked A–B on plan.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district and
county, passing through Section 125, Block III, Papakaio
Survey District, marked B–C on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 94689, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128
of the Public Works Act, 1928.

February, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following

day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven,
viz. :—
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928,
shall not apply to that part of the northern side of Valley
Street fronting part Lot 23, D.P. 883 ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern
side of the portion of Valley Street (described in the Schedule
hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street, situated in the
Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Valley
Street, fronting part Lot 23, D.P. 883. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94791,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting Land in the Selwyn Plantation Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of
February, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection three of section one
hundred and seventy-one of the Reserves and other Lands
Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1924, and sub-
section two of section thirteen of the Reserves and other
Lands Disposal Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day
of the date hereof, the land described in the Schedule hereto
shall be vested in the Selwyn Plantation Board, in trust, for
plantation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 893 acres 2 roods
18 perches, more or less, being Rural Sections 19387, 25412,
27724, 27776, and 27777, situated in Blocks XIII and XIV,
Rolleston Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Leeston
Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards the north-
east by the Aylesbury and Burnham Road, 14063·6 links ;
towards the south by the Hawkins and Burnham Road,
14578·5 links ; and towards the north-west by Rural
Sections 27836, 27674, and 25880, 14400·6 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 67 acres
1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Rural Section 27725,
situated in Block II, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as
follows : Towards the north by the Hawkins and Burnham
Road, 4759·4 links ; towards the east by Reserve 1041,
634·5 links ; towards the south-east by the Main South Road,
4418·1 links ; and towards the south-west by Rural Section
14056, 2411·5 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 20 acres
0 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Rural Section 27862,
situated in Block I, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as
follows : Towards the north by the Hawkins and Burnham
Road, 562·9 links ; towards the north-east by Rural
Section 14056, 3733·8 links ; towards the south-east by the
Main South Road, 522·4 links ; and towards the south-west
by Rural Section 28729, 3943·9 links.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 49135J, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.
