At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of February, 1937.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
William Elgar Johns,
William Finlay,
Roland Oliver Henry,
William James Sommerville, and
Robert Stephen Brown
to be the Patumahoe Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Patumahoe Library Room, Patumahoe, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Fixing Harbour Light Dues for Nelson.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of February, 1937.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section seventy-four of the Harbours Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby fix the dues which shall be paid in respect of any harbour lights, signals, buoys, or beacons situate at or in the Harbours of Nelson and Mapua to be as follows, viz.:

The master of every vessel shall, on arrival at Nelson Harbour, pay to the Nelson Harbour Board, per ton register of such vessel, the sum of

All charges at variance herewith are hereby repealed and the Order in Council dated the 5th day of June, 1902, and published in the Gazette of the 12th day of the same month, at page 1255, fixing harbour light dues for Nelson, is revoked.

Order in Council authorizing the Borrowing by the Waimea Electric-power Board by way of Hypothecation of Debentures issued in respect of Loans of £65,000 and £5,000.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1937.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Orders in Council made on the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and subject to the determinations as to the borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Waimea Electric-power Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the respective sums of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000) and five thousand pounds (£5,000) by loans to be known respectively as “Reticulation Loan No. 2, 1936,” and “Consumers Advances Loan, 1936” (hereinafter called “the said loans”):
And whereas the said local authority, pending the raising of the said loans in accordance with the said determinations, is desirous of borrowing the said amounts or parts thereof by hypothecation or mortgage pursuant to section thirty-four of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, of the debentures authorized to be issued in respect of the said loans:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section seven of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and by section eight of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the said local authority, pending the raising of the said loans in accordance with the said determinations (by which, inter alia, the rate of interest to be inserted in the said debentures is limited to three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum) borrowing the said sums of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000) and five thousand pounds (£5,000) or any part thereof by the hypothecation or mortgage of the said debentures at a rate of interest not exceeding four pounds ten shillings (£4 10s.) per centum per annum, and hereby prescribes that the said local authority shall, before the said loan of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000) or any portion thereof is borrowed by way of hypothecation pursuant to the authority of this Order in Council, establish a sinking fund and make payments thereto in accordance with the terms of clause three of the respective Order in Council of the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and in all respects as if such borrowing of the said sum of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000) by way of hypothecation were the raising of a loan within the meaning of that clause, and hereby further prescribes that the money borrowed by the hypothecation or mortgage of the debentures in respect of the loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) shall, pending the raising of the said loan, be repaid by annual amounts equivalent to the instalments of principal which would have been repaid if on the first date on which any moneys are borrowed by such hypothecation the whole of the said sum of five thousand pounds (£5,000) had been raised on the terms prescribed by the respective Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
