Stocks of Flour, Wheat, and Oats.

A CENSUS of stocks of flour, wheat, and oats in the Dominion was taken as at the 30th November, 1936, when the following quantities were returned: Flour, 13,087 tons; wheat, 2,471,432 bushels (including 1,990,420 bushels of milling-wheat); and oats in grain, 771,468 bushels. Returns were received covering all stocks owned or stored by millers, merchants, and farmers throughout the Dominion, with a few unimportant exceptions which would not appreciably affect the totals given.
