RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Pohangina County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the Pohangina County Council Mangapikopiko Redemption Loan of £300, 1935, authorized to be raised by the Pohangina County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the Pohangina County Mangapikopiko Riding Bridges Loan of £350, 1925, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fortieth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Mangapikopiko Riding of the County of Pohangina, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the fifteenth day of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
