Land proclaimed as a Road in Block IV, Piako Survey District, Hauraki Plains County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Piako Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 6 perches. Being portion of Section 22.

Situated in Block IV, Piako Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28088.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 90247, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of January, 1936.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908. [L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Rotohokahoka F. Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, situated in Block III, Horohoro Survey District, and Blocks XV and XVI, Rotorua Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 469, folio 154, Auckland Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1936.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserves Nos. 1660 and 1612, set apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, respectively, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest 1660, situated in Block VII, Kopara Survey District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 48 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest 1612, situated in Block VIII, Kopara Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/89A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Allocating Passenger-services to be dealt with by the Central Licensing Authority.

GALWAY, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of January, 1936. Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL. PURSUANT to section fifteen of the Transport Law Amendment Act, 1933, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, made after consultation with the Transport Co-ordination Board, doth hereby declare that the granting of passenger-service licenses in respect of the proposed passenger-services specified in the Schedule hereto shall be a function of the Central Licensing Authority whether carried on by the proprietors named in the said Schedule or transferred to any other proprietors in terms of section twenty of the said Act, and whether or not varied in conformity with any amendments made in terms of section thirty-four of the Transport Licensing Act, 1931, in any licenses under which such passenger-services may from time to time be carried on for the time being.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL. IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by subsection two of section thirteen of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and of all other powers and authorities in this behalf him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and by way of amendment of the Egmont County Loans Conversion Order, 1935 (No. 2), made on the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five,
