THE BLACKWATER CREEK SLUICING COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company on the 2nd day of December, 1936, passed a resolution for a creditors’ voluntary winding up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, as follows:—
(1) That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up and that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933.
(2) That in pursuance of section 235 of the Companies Act, 1933, Mr. JOHN McCALLUM EADIE, of Greymouth, be and he is hereby nominated liquidator of the company.
And that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at its registered office, Greymouth, on Saturday, the 12th day of December, 1936, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given (pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933) that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the offices of Messrs. Ernest Hunt, Turner, and Heslop, Public Accountants, 127 Featherston Street, Wellington, on Monday, the 28th day of December, 1936, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

The Wellington City Sanitation Loan Repayment Loan, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-nine thousand four hundred pounds (£29,400) to be known as ‘The Wellington City Sanitation Loan Repayment Loan, 1937,’ authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying the Wellington City Sanitation Loan 1907 Repayment Loan, 1932, which matures on the 28th day of February, 1937, the said Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty eight-hundredths of a penny (38/100d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years from the 28th day of February, 1937, or until the loan is fully paid off.’’
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 7th day of December, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 4th day of December, 1936, presented to the said Court by Hodder and Tolley, Limited, whose registered office is at No. 51 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North: And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 18th day of December, 1936, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company on the 5th day of December, 1936, passed a resolution for a creditors’ voluntary winding up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, as follows:—
