resolution passed by the Blenheim Borough Council on the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, viz. :

“ The Blenheim Borough Council, being the local authority having control of Beaver Road and High Street, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to those portions of Beaver Road 324·69 and 37·15 links in length, and that part of High Street 140·33 links in length, adjoining Lots 251 and 252 of Section 3, Omaka, shown on plan and included in Certificate of Title, Volume 33, folios 204 and 205 ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Beaver Road, or the northern side of the portion of High Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Marlborough Land District, Borough of Blenheim, known as Beaver Road, fronting Lots 251 and 252 of Section 3, Omaka. Also the northern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and borough known as High Street, fronting Lot 251 of Section 3, Omaka.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93990, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

The Western and North-western Sides generally of Portions of Cowling Road, in the County of Taranaki, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of December, 1936.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Taranaki County Council on the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, viz. :

“ That the Taranaki County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Taranaki, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Cowling Road fronting Lot 1, plan 5607, part Section 40, Fitzroy District, and part Sections 39 and 833, Grey District, extending from the southern boundary of part Section 39, D.P. 4091, to the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1 of part Section 40, Fitzroy District, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District, as more particularly delineated on plan prepared by Messrs. Sladden and Palmer, Registered Surveyors, and dated July, 1936 ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western and north-western sides generally of the portions of Cowling Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE western and north-western sides generally of all those portions of road in the Taranaki Land District, County of Taranaki, known as Cowling Road, fronting parts Sections 39 and 833, Grey District, and part Section 40, Fitzroy District, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94029, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Northcote Borough Council on the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, viz. :

“ The Northcote Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Northcote, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Princes Street adjoining that part of Allotment 30, Parish of Takapuna, in C.T. 151/201 ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of Princes Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE western side of all that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Northcote, known as Princes Street, fronting part Allotment 30, Parish of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94062, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Northbank Settler’s Public Hall Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of December, 1936.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall : And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act), in the undermentioned persons, namely :

Maude Lillian Nicholls,
Thomas Reginald Black Fowler,
Kenneth Lawrence Neal,
Ivan Dudley Mortimer,
John Nicholls,
Hugh Miles William Adams,
Duncan Gilchrist,
Archibald Miles William Adams, and
Allan Moston Wadsworth,

who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Northbank Settlers’ Public Hall Board (hereinafter referred to as “ the Board ”), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say, —

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the fourth Saturday in the months of February, May, August,
