In the Order in Council dated 7th October, 1935, directing sale of railway land at Hoteo, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 70 of 10th October, 1935, page 2817, in first item of the Schedule, for “Part Section 54” read “Part Sections 54 and 55.”

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3831, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block II, Pakiri Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block II, Pakiri Survey District, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the northern boundary of Allotment 244, Mangawai Parish, Block II, Pakiri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 28 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Allotment 244, Mangawai Parish, Block II, Pakiri Survey District, and terminating at a point on the road through the said Allotment 244, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91183, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of January, 1936.

Additional Land at Napier taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Napier in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 7·96 perches.
