In the Supreme Court of New Zealand
(Northern District).

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of REMOVALS LIMITED, a company incorporated
under the Companies Act, 1908, and having its registered
office at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court
was on the 19th day of November, 1936, presented to the said
Court by The South Island Forwarding Company, Limited, a
duly incorporated company having its registered office at
Christchurch: And that the said petition is directed to be
heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 11th day
of December, 1936, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon; and
any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous
to support or oppose the making of an order on the said
petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his
counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be
furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company
requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the
regulated charge for the same.

the Supreme Court at Auckland, and must be signed by the
person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be
served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to
reach the above-named petitioner's address for service not
later than four o'clock in the afternoon of the 10th day of
December, 1936.

MEDICAL REGISTRATION.

I, KENNETH ENTWISLE BURY, L.R.C.P., M.R.C.S.,
1920, now residing in Wellington, hereby give notice
that I intend applying on the 24th December next to have
my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of
New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of
my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Wellington.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County
Council proposes to execute a certain public work—to wit,
the establishment of a gravel-pit—for which purpose the
following land is required to be taken under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23 (that is to
say): All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Auckland containing one acre (more or less),
being part of Allotment Number thirty-five of the Parish
of Kirikiriwa, and being the whole of the land included in
limited Certificate of Title, Volume 563, folio 110.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid is open
for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council,
Grey Street, Hamilton East. All persons affected are hereby
called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections
to the execution of such works or to the taking of such land
and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council
within forty days from the date of the first publication of this
notice.

ELECTION OF TWO REGISTERED TEACHERS TO BE MEMBERS
OF THE BOARD FOR THE DISTRICT OF OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that an election was held on
Wednesday, 18th November, at Wellington. 173
voting-papers were issued, 68 were returned, 1 being
informal.

Votes were recorded as follows: Charles A. Martin, 44;
Max Schreck, 41; V. E. Galway, 35.

Charles A. Martin and Max Scherek are therefore declared
to be elected to hold office for a term of two years from April,
1937.

at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an
account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which
the winding up has been conducted and the property of the
company disposed of, and of hearing any explanations that
may be given by the liquidator.

the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and
the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any
explanations that may be given by the liquidator, and also of
determining the manner in which the books, accounts, and
documents of the company and of the liquidator shall be
disposed of.

at 10 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before
the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has
been conducted and the property disposed of and hearing any
explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of
determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which
the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of
the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.
