NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be offered for sale for cash by public auction, on Lot 71, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., on Monday, 11th January, 1937, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LANDS.
Matamata County.—Maungatautari Survey District.
Lot 71 of Section 9, Block XII: Area, 39·82 perches. Upset price, £10.
Lot 72 of Section 9, Block XII: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £10.
Lot 73 of Section 9, Block XII: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £10.
Lot 76 of Section 9, Block XII: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £10.
Lot 80 of Section 9, Block XII: Area, 1 rood 8·42 perches. Upset price, £10.
The following improvements are not included in upset prices and are payable separately in cash, viz. :
Lot 73: Trees valued at £7.
Lot 76: Half-share in boundary-fencing, valued at £1 5s.
Lot 80: Half-share in boundary-fencing, valued at £1.
The sections are situated on the Putaruru–Arapuni Road, distant half to three-quarters of a mile from Arapuni Village, and an average of nine miles and a half from Putaruru by bitumen road. The land generally is covered in coarse grass and fern with patches of manuka and heath. Suitable as residential sites.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Otorohanga County.—Mangaorongo Survey District.
(Exempt from payment of rent for two years.)
SECTION 19, Block IX: Area, 133 acres 1 rood 25 perches. Capital value, £270; half-yearly rent, £5 8s.
Weighted with £110 for improvements, comprising a cottage, cow-shed, clearing and grassing, and half-share in boundary-fencing. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £10, the balance of £100 may be repaid over a period of ten years by means of twenty half-yearly instalments of £6 9s. 6d. each. A mixed-farming property situated on Tahaia Road half a mile from Tahaia School and ten miles from Otorohanga Post-office, Railway-station, and Dairy Factory; access is by means of metalled road nine miles and formed clay road one mile. Land is undulating to steep on north-western corner, approximately 113 acres being ploughable. Approximately 40 acres of worn-out pasture, balance in natural state of fern and tea-tree. Ragwort requires attention.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash or on deferred payments by public auction at the Lands Office, Tauranga, on Thursday, 14th January, 1937, at 11.30 o’clock a.m., under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Tauranga County.—Maketu Survey District.
SECTION 33, Block VI: Area, 3 acres 2 roods 17 perches. Upset price, £46.
Weighted with £4 10s. (payable in cash) for improvements, consisting of road - boundary fencing and half - share in boundary-fencing.
A grazing property situated on No. 1 Road, Te Puke, two miles and a half distant from Te Puke Township; access by means of practically an “all weather” road. Land is flat to undulating at the back; all in pasture which is ragwort infested. There is no visible water-supply.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 25th November, 1936.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 25th January, 1937.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 28th January, 1937, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
