ERRATUM.—In Gazette No. 75 of the 12th November, 1936, page 2194, in the Warrant permanently reserving lands, for “Town of Moeraki, Section 28, Block VIII,” read “Town of Moeraki, Section 28, Block VII.”

Revoking a Proclamation taking Additional Land at Ohinewai for the Purposes of the Kaipara—Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under this Act, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect to the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary :

And whereas it is found that the additional land at Ohinewai taken for the purposes of the Kaipara—Waikato Railway by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1928, dated the twentieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 43 of the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, page 1243, is not required for the purposes for which it was taken :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of November, 1936.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Howard Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1936.
