IN LIQUIDATION.
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, we hereby give notice that the following special resolution was passed by the above-mentioned company by an entry in its minute-book dated the 31st day of October, 1936:—
“That this company be wound up voluntarily, and that WILLIAM JOSEPH HARPER and RONALD KEITH WYLIE, Public Accountant, of Auckland, be and are hereby appointed liquidators of the company.”

HUME (COBB RIVER) ELECTRIC-POWER COMPANY, LIMITED.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hume (Cobb River) Electric-power Company, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1933, and having its registered office in the City of Christchurch, proposes under the provisions of the above-named Act and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, the erection of a standby plant in connection with its hydro-electric undertaking—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the office of Francis Innes Ledger, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, Registered Surveyor, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth their objections in writing and send such writing within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the said Hume (Cobb River) Electric-power Company, Limited, addressed to its registered office, 82 Hereford Street, Christchurch.
THE SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land situated in the District of Nelson, containing 5 acres 1 rood 16·2 perches, being parts of Sections 47, 49, and 50, Block IV, Waimea Survey District, and being part of the land described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 70, folio 54, Nelson Land Transfer Registry Office.
