Land taken for the Purposes of a Street and in connection with
Street-widening at Jackson Street, in the Borough of Petone,
subject to and with the benefit of certain Rights.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare-(a) That the land described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes
of a street subject to and with the benefit of the rights relating
to party-walls created by a deed dated the eighteenth
day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
two, between Richard Walton Short and Daniel George
Fraser of the one part and Alfred Butland of the other part
and by Memorandum of Transfer registered in the Land and
Deeds Registry Office at Wellington as No. 78683 ; (b) that
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
taken in connection with street-widening subject to and with
the benefit of the aforesaid rights ; (c) that the said parcels
of land shall vest subject as aforesaid in the Mayor, Council-
lors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Petone as from the
date hereinafter mentioned ; and (d) that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the ninth day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for the purposes
of a street : 4.51 perches.
Being part Lot 4, D.P. 57, and part Lot 6, D.P. 948, being
portion of the land on D.P. 8502, being part Section 5,
Hutt R.D. ; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken in connection
with street-widening : 25.73 perches.
Being parts Lots 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 57, being part Section 5,
Hutt R.D. ; coloured purple.
All situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District
(Borough of Petone). '(S.O. 3163.)
All in the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93326,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of
October, 1936.

vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office; and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-six.

every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an automatic-
telephone exchange; and I do also declare that this Procla-
mation shall take effect on and after the second day of
November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

203 perches.
Being Lot 45, D.P. 9784, being part Rural Section 4 and

Wellington, and thereon edged red.
