A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 11 perches. Being portion of part Lot 1, Deeds Plan 17, being part Allotment 63, Titirangi Parish.
Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District (Auckland R.D.), (City of Auckland). (S.O. 28701.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93420, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1936.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.โNELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 237 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, and described as follows:
All that area containing 29 acres 1 rood 33 perches, more or less, being part of Section 9, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Section 12, Block VII aforesaid; towards the north-east by another part of the said Section 9 (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1930, page 3122); towards the south by Section 8, Block VII aforesaid; and towards the west by a public road.
Also all those areas containing 208 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, and being Sections 10, 34, 35, and 36, Block VIII, Kawatiri Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 106/8, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1936.

Amending a Proclamation reserving Lands under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the Gazette of the sixth day of that month, certain lands in the Wellington Land District were permanently reserved for scenic purposes:
And whereas an error was made in the description of the lands in the Schedule to the said Proclamation, and it is expedient that the error should be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by deleting from the description of parts of Sections 3 and 7, Block IV, Hautapu Survey District, in the Schedule thereto, the following: "184 acres 0 roods 29 perches," and substituting therefor "155 acres 2 roods 29 perches."
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1936.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in Block X, Kaiwaka Survey District, Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Native land and has been used by the public as a public road:
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on the twenty-ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 10 acres 1 rood 8 perches. Being portion of Matakaitaki No. 1 Block, Block X, Kaiwaka Survey District (S.O. plan 2956).
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1349, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2779, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1936.
