Additional Land at Waimea taken for the Purposes of the Waimea Plains Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waimea Plains Railway to take further land at Waimea in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 12 acres 2 roods. 2·5 perches.

Part of Section 561, Block XXX, Hokonui Survey District Southland County. (S.O. 64/124.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4375, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1936.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of a Street and in connection with Street-widening at Jackson Street, in the Borough of Petone.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 29 of the sixteenth day of the same month, at page 751, and deposited in the Land and Deeds Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2467, taking land for the purposes of a street and in connection with street-widening at Jackson Street, in the Borough of Petone, in so far as it affects the land described in the Second Schedule thereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of August, 1936.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Uawa Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 1 acre 1 rood 13 perches.

Being portion of Allotment 529, Town of Pirongia East.

Situated in Block IV, Pirongia Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28386.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 92933, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of September, 1936.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street : 0·35 perches.

Being part Lot 1, S.O. 1533, being part Meeanee Suburban Section 54 (Police-station Site, Proclamation No. 1163).

Situated in the Taradale Town District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1145, green.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93130, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1936.
