And whereas James Ingram Thomason, of Egmont Village, Farmer, was entitled to compensation for his freehold interest in the said land :
And whereas the Minister of Public Works agreed to grant to the said James Ingram Thomason a pipe-line easement over the said area of 2 acres 0 roods 2·9 perches in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid, and to provide a sum of two hundred and sixty pounds in satisfaction of the residue of the said compensation :
And whereas the said James Ingram Thomason agreed to accept such grant and sum of money in satisfaction of the said compensation :
Now, therefore, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Public Works, do hereby give notice, in pursuance of section 97 of the Public Works Act, 1928, that I assent to the above agreement.

Notice of Intention to take Additional Land in the Johnsonville Town District for the Purposes of a Post-office.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a post-office—and for the purposes of such public work the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Johnsonville, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken :
5 perches.
Being portion of Lot 3, D.P. 10196, and being part Section 11, Porirua R.D.
Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District (Johnsonville Town District). (S.O. 3186.)

Classification of Road in Helensville Town District.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Helensville Town Board’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Helensville Town District.
SCHEDULE.
HELENSVILLE TOWN DISTRICT.
ROAD classified in Class Four : Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons :—
Auckland–Helensville Main Highway No. 13 (all that portion within the Helensville Town District).

Classification of Gisborne–Opotiki via Waioeka Main Highway.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke the Warrants described in the First Schedule hereto so far as they relate to the classification of any part of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and do hereby declare that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto and situated in the Opotiki and Waikohu Counties shall belong to the class of roads shown in the said Second Schedule.

Gisborne–Opotiki via Waioeka Main Highway No. 323 (all that portion within the Opotiki and Waikohu Counties).

Authorizing the Laying-off of Road of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Lowry Bay Extension No. 15, affecting parts Sections 22 and 24, Harbour Registration District, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that the proposed road shown therein as Gill Road should be of the width of 66 ft.
Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such road of a width of not less than 40 ft. : Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
