At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of September, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

License authorizing Molyneux Gold Dredging Company, Limited, to erect and use certain Electric Lines in the County of Vincent.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of September, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize Molyneux Gold Dredging Company, Limited, being a company incorporated in England and having its registered office for New Zealand at Clyde, Otago (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following conditions.

B

CONDITIONS.

  1. PURPOSES OF LINES.

THE said lines may be used for lighting, power, and heating purposes.

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.

The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.

The system of supply shall be the system described in paragraphs (b) and (f) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935.

Electrical energy shall be received in bulk from the Otago Central Electric-power Board at a pressure of 6,600 volts at the Board’s substation on the west bank of the Molyneux River approximately one mile north-west of the township of Clyde.

  1. DURATION OF LICENSE.

Unless sooner lawfully determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1957.

SCHEDULE.

LINES adapted for supply as prescribed in these presents for the transmission of electricity commencing from the substation in Block II, Leaning Rock Survey District, described in Condition 4 above, and proceeding thence along the west bank of the Molyneux River in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately one mile to a terminal pole approximately 10 chains north of the Clyde Bridge; all being situated in the County of Vincent, in the Land District of Otago, and being more particularly delineated by means of a dotted red line on the plan marked P.W.D. 92262, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Licensing the Tangowahine Sawmills, Limited, to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Tangowahine, Northern Wairoa River, Kaipara Harbour, as a Site for a Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of September, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned under the Harbours Act, 1923 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), the Tangowahine Sawmills, Limited (hereinafter called “the company,” in which term is to be construed, unless the context requires a different construction, its successors or assigns), has applied to the Governor-General in Council for a license under the said Act to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Tangowahine, Northern Wairoa River, Kaipara Harbour, as a site for a wharf erected in accordance with plan marked M.D. 4544, approved on the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and showing the area of foreshore intended to be occupied:

And whereas it has been made to appear that the said wharf will not be or tend to the injury of navigation; and it is expedient that a license should be granted to the company under the said Act for the purpose aforesaid:
