Town Lands in North Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 22nd September, 1936.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Government Buildings, Auckland, on Thursday, 29th October, 1936, at 2.30 o'clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND. Waitemata County.—Waiwera Parish.—Town of Orewa Extension.—Subdivision of Allotment 279, Waiwera Parish. Lot 129 : Area, 38·6 perches. Upset price, £50. Weighted with the sum of £350 for buildings payable in cash or by deferred payments spread over a period of fifteen years; half-yearly instalment of principal and interest being £16 14s. 7d. for buildings only. Lot 130 : Area, 39·9 perches. Upset price, £50. Lots 132 and 133 : Area, 2 roods 11·7 perches. Upset price, £110. Weighted with the sum of £300 for buildings payable in cash or by deferred payments spread over a period of fifteen years; half-yearly instalment of principal and interest being £14 6s. 9d. for buildings only. These sections are situated on an unformed side road within a few chains of the main north highway and close to Orewa Beach and Township. Access is from Birkenhead by main road, a distance of twenty-two miles. Silverdale Township is two miles and a half distant. Level, sandy sections, partly in gorse and old cultivation, ideally situated for summer residence-sites.
Improvements. The improvements, which must be paid for separately as set out above, are as follows :— Lot 129 : Buildings comprise four-roomed dwelling with front and back verandas, washhouse, and garage. Fittings comprise Dover stove, open fireplace, sink, cupboards, pumice copper, tubs, bath, &c. Water supplied from one 800-gallon tank. Fencing of little value. Lots 132 and 133 : Buildings comprise four-roomed dwelling, front veranda, back porch, washhouse, open fire and Dover stove, pumice copper, tubs, and bath, &c. One 800-gallon tank. Fencing of little value. The present occupier of this property shall have the right to remove four small tanks erected by him.
Special Conditions. 1. The successful purchasers will be required to immediately insure the buildings to their full insurable value in the name of the Commissioner of Crown Lands. 2. The purchasers shall be responsible for all rates, taxes, insurances, and other outgoings in respect of the areas and buildings purchased by them. 3. Buildings must be adequately maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Crown Lands whose decision shall be final. 4. A breach of any of these conditions renders the license liable to forfeiture. Full particulars may be obtained from the undersigned.

Town Land in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 22nd September, 1936. NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash or on deferred payments by public auction at the Lands Office, Te Kuiti, at 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 2nd November, 1936, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE. AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND. Otorohanga County.—Town of Kio Kio. SECTION 22 : Area, 2 roods. Upset price, £14. Upset price includes £2 for grassing. The improvement not included in the upset price consists of fencing valued at £2 ; this sum is payable in cash.

This property, which is suitable for residential purposes, is situated at the junction of Puketarata Road and Kio Kio Road. The section is level, grassed land of first-class quality. Distant approximately three-quarters of a mile from the Kio Kio Railway-station ; access is by formed and metalled road.

Lands in Taranaki Land District for Leasing and Sale.
District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, 22nd September, 1936. NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Reserves and Crown lands described in the First and Second Schedules will be offered for lease and sale for cash respectively by public auction at the Courthouse, Patea, at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, the 23rd October, 1936. The Education Reserves described in the First Schedule will be offered for lease under the provisions of the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908, and the Education Reserves Act, 1928. Term of lease, twenty-one years, with perpetual right of renewal at revaluation. The lands described in the Second Schedule will be offered for sale for cash under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
FIRST SCHEDULE. TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVES. Patea Borough.—Town of Patea. SECTION 3, Block XXVII : Area, 1 rood. Upset annual rent, £2 10s. Section 4, Block XXVII : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £12. Sections 272, 273, and part Section 263 : Area, 3 roods 4·9 perches. Upset price, £35. These sections comprise first-class quality level land. With the exception of Sections 272, 273, and part Section 263, which are in gorse, all sections are in good pasture. These sections comprise all the remaining Crown sections in this township. NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to four o'clock p.m. on Friday, 23rd October, 1936. Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 28th October, 1936, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
