NOTE.β€”The Register is arranged alphabetically under the names of holders of licenses; but when an individual holds a license on behalf of a firm or registered company the name of such firm or company, and not the name of the holder of the license, is placed in its alphabetical order.

In the case of a firm or company the name of which consists of the Christian name or names (or initials) and surname or surnames of some person or persons, the index letter is the first letter of the first surname.

Further, where an individual holder of a license trades under a particular name, the trade-name appears in its alphabetical order.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Hamilton, the County of Waipa, and the Rukuhia Riding of the County of Waipa.

Wellington, 17th September, 1936.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Borough of Hamilton are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, dated the 1st day of July, 1936, and published in Gazette No. 43 of the 2nd day of July, 1936.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the County of Waipa affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

And, in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Rukuhia Riding of the County of Waipa affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF HAMILTON.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western side of the Hamilton-Tuhikaramea Road and in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment 371, Te Rapa Parish; thence in a northerly direction generally along that road to and along the north-western side of the Frankton-Whatawhata Road, to and down the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream to a point in the North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve approximately 50 links north-east of the centre-line of track; thence following a route parallel to aforesaid centre-line to and across Forest Lake Road and along the north-eastern side of the aforesaid railway to the southernmost corner of Lot 7, D.P. 8639; thence in a generally easterly direction along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 7 aforesaid to its junction with a line parallel to Lake Street and distant 250 links from its north-eastern side; thence along that line to Lot 20, D.P. 7493; thence along the north-western boundaries of Lots 20 to 13 inclusive, the abutment of a public road, and Lots 11 to 1 inclusive, all on D.P. 7493 aforesaid to a public road; thence along that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 90; thence across that road and along the north-western side of Forest Lake Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment 37, Pukete Parish; thence by a right line across Forest Lake Road, and along the south-western boundary of Allotment 37 aforesaid to and across a public road and the south-western boundary of Allotment 243, Pukete Parish, to Dudley Terrace; thence along the generally north-western side of that street to the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream; thence down that stream to the Waikato River; thence up the left bank of the Waikato River to a point in line with the northern side of Boundary Road; thence by a right line across the Waikato River, the northern side of Boundary Road aforesaid to and across River Road; thence along the north-eastern side of that road to the southernmost corner of Lot 3, D.P. 4721; thence along the generally southern boundaries of Lots 3 and 12, D.P. 4721 aforesaid, to Casey’s Avenue; thence by a right line across that avenue to the south-western corner of Lot 22, D.P. 4721; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 22 aforesaid, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 34, D.P. 8536, the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, and 1, D.P. 8536 aforesaid, to and across Heaphy Terrace, the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 1, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 39, 40, and 41, D.P. 9185, and Lot 33, D.P. 3014, to the centre of Peach Grove Road; thence in a generally south-easterly direction along the centre of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 223A, Kirikiriroa Parish; thence by a right line, the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Allotment 223A aforesaid, the abutment of a public road, Allotments 224, 225, and 229, the crossing of a public road, again Allotment 229, Allotments 230 and 231, the crossing of a public road, Allotment 251, the abutment of a public road, and Allotment 254, all of Kirikiriroa Parish, to the Waikato River; thence in a westerly direction generally down the right bank of the Waikato River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 53, Te Rapa Parish; thence by a right line across the Waikato River and along the north-western boundaries of Allotments 53 and 52, Te Rapa Parish, to the Ohaupo Road; thence along the generally eastern side of the Ohaupo Road to a point opposite the southern corner of Lot 3, D.P. 17055; thence by a right line across the Ohaupo Road to the southern corner of Lot 3 aforesaid; thence in a northerly direction generally along the eastern side of the Great South Road to the westernmost corner of part Lot 13, D.P. 4097; thence by a right line proceeding in the direction of the south-western corner of Lot 3, D.P. 4460, till it meets the northern boundary of Allotment 26, Te Rapa Parish, at a point in Lake
