Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XII, Mount
Robinson Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Levin-
Palmerson North via Shannon Main Highway, Horowhenua
County Division.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired
to be constructed over Block XII, Mount Robinson Survey
District—viz., a deviation of the Levin-Palmerston North via
Shannon Main Highway, Horowhenua County Division—
shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the western boundary of part
Lot 3, D.P. 408, being part Manawatu-Kukutauaki 2c Block,
Block XII, Mount Robinson Survey District, and proceeding
thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of
approximately 50-7 chains, and passing in, into, through, or
over the following lands, &c.—viz., parts Lot 3, D.P. 408
(C.T. 99/154), parts Lot 2, D.P. 408 (C.T. 98/42), and another
part Lot 2, D.P. 408 (C.T. 283/56), all being parts Manawatu-
Kukutauaki 2c Block, Block XII, Mount Robinson Survey
District, and terminating at a point on the existing Levin-
Palmerson North via Shannon Main Highway opposite the
south-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 408 (C.T. 283/56),
being part Manawatu-Kukutauaki 2c Block, Block XII,
Mount Robinson Survey District; including all adjoining
and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes,
rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Wellington
Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 93489, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of
September, 1936.

Amending the Wairere Electric-power Boards Loans Con-
version Order, 1934.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of
September, 1936.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the Wairere Electric-power Boards Loans
Conversion Order, 1934, made under the authority of
the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Con-
version Act, 1932-33, on the fifteenth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in
the Gazette of the twenty-first day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-four (hereinafter referred to as “the
principal Order”), consent was given by the Governor-
General in Council to the conversion by the Wairere Electric-
power Board (hereinafter referred to as “the local authority”)
of the loans specified in the First Schedule of such Order,
and by clause twenty-three thereof, as amended by the
Wairere Electric-power Board Loans Conversion Amendment
Order, 1934, made on the twenty-fourth day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in
the Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of September, one thou-
sand nine hundred and thirty-four, provision was made for
the application of the existing sinking funds of such loans
held by the Public Trustee as Commissioner thereof :
And whereas at the date of conversion as specified in clause
five of the said principal Order there was due and owing by the
local authority to the Public Trustee as such Commissioner in
respect of the said existing sinking funds the sum of nine
hundred and five pounds (£905), and it is expedient to make
provision for the payment of the said sum of £905 by periodical
payments as hereafter provided :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority conferred on him by subsection two of section
thirteen of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans
Conversion Act, 1932-33, and of all other powers and authori-
ties in this behalf him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that
Dominion, and by way of further amendment to the principal
Order, doth hereby prescribe and order that in liquidation of
the said sum of nine hundred and five pounds (£905) the
local authority shall on the first day of December following
the date of conversion and on each first day of December
thereafter pay to the Public Trustee as Commissioner of the
Consolidated Sinking Fund referred to in clause twenty-one
of the principal Order a sum of not less than thirty pounds
(£30), but so that the whole of the said sum of nine hundred
and five pounds (£905) shall be liquidated not later than the
first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-
four.

Assigning Industrial Districts to Commissioner under the
Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and
its Amendments.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of
September, 1936.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS Robert Everett Price has been duly appointed
a Conciliation Commissioner for the purposes of
Part II of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act,
1925 :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby assign, as from the
fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-six, for the purposes of the said Act, to the said
Conciliation Commissioner, the following industrial districts—
viz., Northern, Taranaki, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson,
Westland, Canterbury, and Otago and Southland.

Fixing the Date on which the General Regrading of Officers of
the Public Service, the Post and Telegraph Department, and
the Department constituted under the Government Railways
Act, 1926, shall be made and take effect.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
September, 1936.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section twenty-seven of
the Finance Act (No. 2), 1933, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby fix the first day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, as the
date on which the first general regrading of officers employed
in the Public Service, the Post and Telegraph Department,
and the department constituted under the Government
Railways Act, 1926, shall be made after the passing of the
Finance Act (No. 2), 1933, and doth hereby fix the said first
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven,
as the date on which the several regradings shall take effect.
