Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Blocks IX and XIII, Whangarei Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Whangarei-Kamo Railway and the North Auckland Railway (branch line to Whangarei) and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Whangarei County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of September, 1936.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Whangarei–Opua Railway (Kamo–Hikurangi Section), and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Whangarei County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1932, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare to be a reclamation area for the purposes of the said section the land described in the Schedule hereto.
