SUMMER time will come into operation at 2 a.m., New Zealand mean time, on Sunday, the 27th September, when clocks should be advanced 30 minutes.

Notice to Mariners No. 43 of 1936.

Wellington, N.Z., 15th September, 1936.
NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—MANUKAU ENTRANCE.
South Head: Alteration in Main Leading-lights.
Position: Lat., 37° 03′ S.; long., 174° 32′ E. (approx.).
Alterations: On the 28th September the lights will be changed to electric and altered as follows:—
Front Beacon: The light will be altered from occulting white every second to occulting white every four seconds, thus—light 2 seconds, eclipse 2 seconds.
Rear Beacon: The light will be altered from occulting white every 3 seconds to occulting white every 6 seconds, thus—light 4 seconds, eclipse 2 seconds.
Remarks: The other characteristics will remain unaltered. The lights are unwatched.
Chart affected: No. 2726.
