NOTICE is hereby given that Master Clothes, Limited, has changed its name to Modern Suits, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Wairarapa Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorized to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Board’s distribution-lines a distance of approximately eight and one-quarter miles along and adjacent to the Awhea Road, the Wairarapa Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of a penny (5/16d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Awhea Special-rating Area comprising all that land in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-east boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District, situated on a public road at the north-east corner of Section 26, Block I, Waipawa Survey District; thence following in an easterly direction the said boundary to the western boundary of Lot 10, D.P. 2486, Section part 27, Block I, Waipawa Survey District; thence following in a southerly direction generally the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District to the south-east corner of Section 207, Block VI, Waipawa Survey District; thence following the same said boundary in a northerly direction generally to a point on the Huangarua River situated at the most southern corner of Section 94, Block XIV, Huangarua Survey District; thence following in a northerly direction the north-east boundary of Section 95, Block XIV, Huangarua Survey District, to its most northerly point; thence by a right line across a public road to the south-east corner of Section 91, Block XIV, Huangarua Survey District; thence following the south-east, south-west, and north-west boundaries of the said Section 91 to the south-east corner of Section 87, Block XIV, Huangarua Survey District; thence following the north-east boundary of the said Section 87 to where it joins the boundary between Blocks XIII and XIV, Huangarua Survey District, at the most northern corner of the said Section 87; thence following this block boundary in a westerly and southerly direction to the north-west corner of Section 5, D.P. 2486, Block I, Waipawa Survey District, and Block XIV, Huangarua Survey District; thence following in a southerly direction the western boundaries of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Block I, Waipawa, and Block XIV, Huangarua, Survey Districts to the south-west corner of the last-named section; thence by a straight line across a public road to the starting-point: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Board held on the 20th day of August, 1936.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at Commercial Bank Chambers, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Friday, the 11th day of September, 1936, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon for the purpose of having an account laid before the company showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution disposing of the books, accounts, and documents of the company.

DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Amendment Act, 1921, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £25,000 authorized to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned Act, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Board’s district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid of.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board on Monday, the 17th August, 1936.
