(5) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procurement fees in respect of the raising of the said respective loans or any parts thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised.
(6) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.
(7) The following condition shall apply to the Thames Valley Electric-power Board and the Waitomo Electric-power Board:—

“In respect of works to be undertaken from the sums of £1,500 and £2,500 herein respectively authorized, guarantees as described in clauses 21–43 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, shall first be given in favour of the Power Boards for payments amounting in the case of the Thames Valley Electric-power Board in each of not less than five (5) consecutive years, and in the case of the Waitomo Electric-power Board in each of not less than six (6) consecutive years from the completion of such respective works to at least fifteen (15) per centum of the estimated capital cost in each respective case.”

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of August, 1936.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section forty-six of the Customs Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and being of opinion that the prohibition hereinafter enacted is necessary in the public interest, doth hereby prohibit the importation into New Zealand of timber, rough-sawn or dressed, cut to size and intended for the manufacture of fruit-cases, save with the consent of the Minister of Customs.

P URSUANT to subsection nine (a) of section five hundred and twenty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made on the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at page 1493, and affecting Kawhia T No. 2 Section 2 Block, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

P URSUANT to section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made on the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at page 735, and affecting Hauturu East B 2 Section 2A 1A and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and ninety of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Motueka Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the Nelson Land District, Borough of Motueka, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 23·1 perches, more or less, being portion of Section 189, Motueka Original District, Block III, Motueka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91369, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
