THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.

Lieutenant T. J. Arnold, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Otago Regiment. Dated 29th July, 1936.

Lieutenant J. B. Hepworth, 3rd Cadet Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 25th July, 1936.

2nd Lieutenant R. A. Paetz ceases to be attached to, and is transferred to, the Regiment of N.Z. Artillery. Dated 1st February, 1936.

THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.

Lieutenant N. P. Piteathly, from the Hauraki Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st February, 1935, and is posted to the 3rd Cadet Battalion. Dated 3rd August, 1936.

THE TARANAKI REGIMENT.

Thomas Newlands Stewart Watt to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 9th July, 1936.

THE NELSON, MARLBOROUGH, AND WEST COAST REGIMENT.

Captain J. D. McDonald, from the Reserve of Officers, The Hauraki Regiment, to be Captain, with seniority from 23rd October, 1934, and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 15th July, 1936.

THE OTAGO REGIMENT.

Lieutenant T. J. Arnold, from the Wellington Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 6th February, 1936, and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 29th July, 1936.

THE SOUTHLAND REGIMENT.

Lieutenant L. V. Bryant, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 11. Dated 25th July, 1936.

N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.

H. C. Goffin, Chaplain, 4th Class (Salvation Army), is transferred to the Reserve List, Class II, R.D. 5. Dated 31st July, 1936.

ROBERT GIBSON FRANCIS DOBSON, Esquire, of Melbourne, in the State of Victoria, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, has this day been appointed by the Honourable Sir John Ranken Reed, Acting Chief Justice of the Dominion of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Victoria aforesaid under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
