IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of the FARMERSβ Co-OPERATIVE PERMANENT
BUILDING AND INVESTMENT SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND
(in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above society duly convened and held
at New Plymouth on the 26th day of June, 1936, the following
special resolution was duly passed:-
"That the society be wound up voluntarily."

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members
of the Poverty Bay Turf Club at a meeting held on the
17th day of June, 1936, at Gisborne, with a recommendation
by the Chairman of such Club, Mr. F. Tolerton, that the
same be passed at once with a view to their approval by
His Excellency the Governor-General in pursuance of the
Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. F. Tolerton, the Chairman of such Club, and the
meeting moved, and Mr. D. J. Barry seconded, and it was
resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and
that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign the
same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:-
POVERTY BAY TURF CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf
contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of
all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf,
the Poverty Bay Turf Club, a racing club within the meaning
of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as "the said club"),
doeth hereby make the following regulations controlling the
admission of persons to that part of the Makaraka Domain,
situated in the district of Poverty Bay, and known as the
Makaraka Domain Racecourse, while the said racecourse is
used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of
the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette. -
In these regulations the words "bookmaker," "racing
club," and "race meeting" shall have the meanings ascribed
to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, -
The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded
from the racecourse above described while the same is used
or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely:-
(a) Bookmakers:
(b) Bookmakers' clerks, bookmakers' assistants, and book-
makers' agents:
(c) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing
or trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the
Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere if affiliated
to the New Zealand Racing Conference, or the New
Zealand Trotting Conference, or the New Zealand
Trotting Association :
(d) Common prostitutes and persons who habitually consort
with thieves or persons who have no lawful visible
means of support:
(e) Professional tipsters, persons convicted of house breaking
or pocket picking, forgery, uttering, or possessing
counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen
goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of
any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908, and also idle
and disorderly persons, rogues, and vagabonds, and
incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences
Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under
the Gaming Act, 1908:
Provided always that the Executive Committee appointed
by the New Zealand Racing Conference, upon being satisfied
by evidence as to character and otherwise that any person
who, by reason of any conviction, comes within the scope of
this regulation, should have relief from the effect thereof, may
grant exemption to any such person, and may at any time
revoke any such exemption without notice to such person,
and without assigning any reason for such revocation.
The foregoing regulations of the Poverty Bay Turf Club
were made and passed by such club on the 17th day of June,
1936, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

matter of FOWLERS AUTOMATIC ADVERTISING, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the above company, having
passed a resolution that it be wound up, and that Mr.
J. G. PALAIRET be and is appointed Liquidator, a meeting of
the creditors of the said company is summoned at 3 p.m. on
Friday, 3rd July, at the company's office, British Chambers,
High Street, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 6th day of July,
1936, it was resolved as a special resolution by an
entry in the minute-book of the company, signed as provided
by subsection (l) of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933 :-
-
That the company be wound up voluntarily.

That Mr. GEORGE ROBERTSON HORSBURGH of Hawera,
Merchant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator of the
company.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders of the above company, held
in the Cheese Factory, Marima, on Friday, 10th July, 1936,
the following extraordinary resolution, of which notice had
been given, was carried unanimously:-
"That as the company cannot by reason of its liabilities
continue its business it be wound up voluntarily."
At the same meeting Mr. GEORGE GODFREY TAYLOR of
Pahiataua, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCKS VI AND
XVI, WHANGAPE SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR THE PURPOSES
OF A ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute
a certain public work-to wit, the construction of a road-and
for the purposes of such public work the land described in
the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the Hokianga County Office at Rawene,
and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or the taking of
such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice,
to the Chairman, Hokianga County Council, Rawene.
