THE following is the result of an extraordinary election of the elective members of the Government Railways Superannuation Fund Board, constituted under the Government Railways Act, 1926.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 15th July, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 27th July, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 30th July, 1936, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Waitomo County.—Awakino North Survey District.

(Exempt from payment of rent for two years.)*

SECTION 9, Block VIII : Area, 332 acres 3 roods 28 perches. Capital value, £375. Half-yearly rent, £7 10s.

Weighted with £836 12s. 6d. for improvements consisting of dwelling, outbuildings (2), in poor order and condition, clearing and grassing, subdivisional fencing, road-boundary fencing and half-share in boundary fencing. This sum is payable in cash or by means of a deposit of £1 12s. 6d., the balance of £835 as follows :—

(1) The sum of £340 to remain on mortgage to the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand payable over a period of 25 years with interest at the rate ruling as at date of selection.

(2) The sum of £495 to remain on mortgage to the Lands and Survey Department, payable in the case of a New Zealand discharged soldier over a period of 36½ years, interest-rate 5 per cent. ; in the case of a civilian over a period of 34½ years, interest-rate 5½ per cent.

A grazing property situated on Awakino Valley Road, four miles from Awakino Post-office, two miles and a half from the School, ten miles from Mokau Dairy-factory and
