REDCLIFFS BUTCHERY, LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of REDCLIFFS BUTCHERY, LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in its minute-
book dated the 16th day of June, 1936, the following
resolution was passed :—
“ That the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that
ARTHUR LANSDEN GRAY, Public Accountant, of Christchurch,
be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such
winding up.”
All persons or companies having claims against the company
are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on
or before the 20th day of July, 1936, otherwise they may be
excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting
of members of the above-named company will be held at the

burgh House, 29 Bond Street, Dunedin, on Friday, 17th
July, 1936, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of laying an account
before them showing how the winding up has been conducted

of THE MINING RESEARCH COMPANY, LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders
of The Mining Research Company, Ltd., held on the
12th day of June, 1936, the following resolution was passed :—
“ That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot
continue its business and that it be voluntarily wound up.”
All persons or companies having claims against the com-
pany are requested to send full particulars to the undersigned
on or before the 20th day of July, 1936, otherwise they may
be excluded from participation in any distribution of the
assets of the company.

HASTINGS BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hastings
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £34,000 authorized to be
raised by the Hastings Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of providing within its district
the following sanitary works—that is to say, sewerage works
and works for the disposal of the sewage of the Borough of
Hastings at some suitable point in the sea between the Tuki
Tuki River and the Ngaruroro River—the said Hastings
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
forty-two one-hundredths (0·42d.) of a penny in the pound
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Hastings
comprising the whole of the Borough of Hastings, and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day
of August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan
is fully paid off.”

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Devonport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) autho-
rized to be raised by the Devonport Borough Council under
the above-mentioned Act for street works, the said Devonport
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
seventeen sixty-fourths (17/64th) of a penny in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough
of Devonport, and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20)
years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Devonport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of ten thousand seven hundred pounds
(£10,700) authorized to be raised by the Devonport Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for water mains,
the said Devonport Borough Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of three-sixteenths (3/16th) of a penny in
the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property
in the Borough of Devonport, and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
