NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Wanganui District, dated the 2nd day of June, 1936, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £12,137 10s. to £3,664, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the said company as altered the several particulars required by the above Act, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 4th day of June, 1936.

MATAMATA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Matamata Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 authorized to be raised by the Matamata Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a sewerage system, the said Matamata Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Matamata and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off."
