I, ALFRED IBBOTSON, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare :—
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
- That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
- That calls to the amount of 18s. (eighteen shillings) per share have been made under which the sum of £22,500 has been received.
- That the amount of moneys received on account of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 30th April, 1936, is £386,592 10s. 10d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 30th April, 1936, is £383,334 6s. 7d.
- That the amount of the balance held to the credit of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 30th April, 1936, is £50,688 12s. 4d.
- That the liabilities of the company on the lst day of May last were debts owing to sundry persons by the company—viz.: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £141,814 1s. 9d.; on estimated liabilities, nil.
- That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £10,880; other securities, £165,261 5s. 9d.; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit, £7,694 5s. 7d.; cash at bank, £7,830 3s. 8d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the above-named company on the 1st day of June, 1936 :—
“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that Mr. F. A. G. DUNN, Public Accountant, of Wai-pukurau, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the company.”

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Puketarata Road No. 2 Loan of £400.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“‘That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400 authorized to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for metalling the Puketarata Road from its junction with No. 1 Main Highway to the existing metal opposite Section 1, Block XIV, Puniu Survey District, the Otorohanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Puketarata Road No. 2 Special-rating Area as described in the Schedule hereto, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Puniu Survey District, commencing at the north-west corner of Lot 2, Block XIV, on D.P. 23196; thence eastward along the northern boundary of the said Lot 2; thence eastward along the northern boundaries of Lots 6, 7, 8, on D.P. 15235, and 9; thence due south along the eastern boundary of the said Section 9, the eastern boundary of Section 2s, Puketarata Settlement; thence along the northern boundaries of Section 3s and Section 4s, Puketarata Settlement; thence along the eastern boundaries of the said Section 4s and Section 5s, Puketarata Settlement; thence a distance of 20 chains along the southern boundary of the said Section 5s; thence bisecting in a south-westerly direction Section l of 6B 2B 1 of Puketarata Block to a point midway along the southern boundary of the said Section l of 6B 2B 1; thence along the southern boundary westwards to its intersection of Section ls, Puketarata Settlement; thence along the southern boundary westwards of the said Section ls; thence southwards along the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XIV; thence along the southern boundary of the said Section 2, continuing 40 chains along the eastern boundary of Section l, Block XIV; thence due north bisecting the said Section 1 to the south-west corner of Section 7; thence along the western boundary of the said Section 7, the western boundary of Section 9B 2, Puketarata Block, the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 23196, to the point of commencement.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Dunedin dated the 5th day of June, 1936, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £30,000 to £15,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Dunedin aforesaid on the 5th day of June, 1936. The reason for the reduction of capital of the company is that the capital is in excess of the wants of the company and the company desires to repay 10s. per share to the members.
