NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1924, and its amendments, the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, for street and in connection therewith at Shannon Street and Palliser Road in the City of Wellington—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the first and second schedules hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

Land required for Street.

(1) All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing twenty-seven one-hundredths of a perch (0·27 perch), being portion of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 5298, part Section 405, Town of Wellington, the said piece of land being coloured yellow on the plan above mentioned.

(2) All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing two perches and three one-hundredths of a perch (2·03 perches), being portion of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 9578, and being part Section 405, Town of Wellington, the said piece of land being coloured violet on the plan above mentioned.

(3) All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing eight perches and thirty-four one-hundredths of a perch (8·34 perches), being portion of Lot 19 on Deposited Plan No. 123, part Section 405, Town of Wellington, the said piece of land being coloured yellow on the plan above mentioned.

(4) All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing three perches and fourteen one-hundredths of a perch (3·14 perches), being portion of Lot 20 on Deposited Plan No. 123, and being part Section 405, Town of Wellington, the said piece of land being coloured blue on the plan above mentioned.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

Land required in connection with Street.

(1) All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing four perches and seventy-five one-hundredths of a perch (4·75 perches), being portion of Lot 19 on Deposited Plan No. 123, and being part Section 405, Town of Wellington, the said piece of land being coloured sepia on the plan above mentioned.

(2) All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing ten one-hundredths of a perch (0·10 perch), being portion of Lot 19 on Deposited Plan No. 123, and being part Section 405, Town of Wellington, the said piece of land being coloured sepia on the plan above mentioned.

N OTICE is hereby given as follows:—

(1) That by an Order of the Court under date the 26th day of May, 1936, by petition preferred unto the Court on the 6th day of May, 1936, it was ordered that the said company be wound up by the Court under the provisions of the said Act, and that the Official Assignee at Christchurch be constituted provisional liquidator of the affairs of the company.

(2) That the first meeting of creditors will be held at my office, Government Departmental Buildings, Worcester Street, at 10.30 a.m. on Friday, the 19th day of June, 1936.

(3) That the first meeting of contributories will be held at my said office at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, the 22nd day of June, 1936.
