The North-western Side of Portion of a Road in the County of Paparua exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of April, 1936.

Present:

THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Paparua County Council on the sixteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, viz.:

"The Paparua County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the Paparua County, hereby by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the land on the northern side of the road at Prebbleton abutting on to the land at Prebbleton, being part of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 394, folio 277";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-western side of all that portion of road, situated in the Canterbury Land District, County of Paparua, fronting part Rural Section 1488, Block XIII, Christchurch Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91790, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Appointment of Officer for the Purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section two of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Ralph Bleakley and
Arthur Robert Knights

to be officers for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 30th day of May, 1936.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Plumbers Registration Act, 1912, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Edgar Ravenswood McKillop, M.Inst.C.E.,
Deputy Engineer of the Corporation of the City of Wellington,
to be a member of the Plumbers Board of New Zealand under the aforesaid Act.

on the recommendation of the Hawera Borough Council, to be a member of the said Assessment Court.

John Joseph Gregan

to be a member of the Land Board of the Canterbury Land District for a term of two years from the 28th May, 1936; and

Patrick Cody

to be a member of the Land Board of the Southland Land District for a term of two years from the 30th May, 1936.
