The Sharebrokers Act, 1908.—Licensed Sharebrokers for
the Year 1936.

It is notified that licenses under section 4 of the Share-
brokers Act, 1908, to carry on the business of share-
broking in the Dominion of New Zealand for the current
calendar year have been issued to the undermentioned

Notice that Land is vested in the Public Trustee pursuant to
Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908.

WHEREAS by notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette on the 7th day of November, 1935, and in
the Northland Age on the 6th day of December, 1935,
the 13th day of December, 1935, and the 20th day of December,
1935, the Public Trustee did call upon the owner of that
parcel of land containing 56 acres 39·1 perches, more or less,
being south-east part Allotment 28 and north-west part
Allotment 31, Maungataniwha East Parish, and being all the
land containing 60 acres, more or less, comprised in an un-
registered Crown grant dated 21st day of September, 1870,
to Charles Hammond, of Grahamstown, Labourer, bounded
on the north-east by Allotments 29 and 30, 1450 links, on the
south-east by other part of Allotment 31, 4560 links, on the
west by a road 100 links wide, 833 links and 860 links, and on
the north-west by other part of Allotment 28, 3720 links,
excepting thereout three portions the total area of which is
3 acres 3 roods 0·9 perches, more or less, taken for the purpose
of roads by Proclamations registered numbers 3356, 4667,
and 7931, within six months of the date of publication of the
said notice in the New Zealand Gazette to establish his title to
the said land to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee, and
stated in such notice that if the said owner did not do so the
Public Trustee would exercise with regard to the said land all
the powers and authorities granted to the Public Trustee in
and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its
amendments: And whereas the owner of the said land has
not established his title thereto: And whereas the value of
the said land is less than £500:

Now, the Public Trustee gives notice pursuant to the
provisions of section 67 (d) of the Public Trust Office Act,
1908, as amended by the provisions of section 38 of the Public
Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, that the said land is
vested in the Public Trustee and will be administered under
the provisions of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II),
and its amendments.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Settlement Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on
Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 26th May, 1936.
Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned section
is open for selection on renewable lease under the
Land for Settlements Act, 1925; and applications will be
received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland,
up to 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 29th June, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday,
2nd July, 1936, at 10.30 a.m., but if any applicant is unable
to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or
by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Waikato County.—Te Miro Settlement.
SECTION 88s : Area, 240 acres 2 roods 5 perches. Capital
value, £550*; half-yearly rent, £13 15s.

Weighted with £18 (to be paid in cash) for improvements,
consisting of a cow-shed and a pigsty.

A grazing property situated on the Fencourt—Te Miro
Settlement Road eight miles from Cambridge Post-office and
Railway-station, and four miles from Goodwood Dairy Factory
and School; access is by metalled road. Undulating to hilly
land practically unimproved. Approximately 46 acres in
worn-out pasture, balance in natural state. The property is
considered unsuitable for use as a separate holding, but should
work in well as a run-off for a settler holding other land in
the locality. Ragwort requires attention.

  • Improvements included in the capital value comprise
    clearing and grassing, roads, road-boundary fencing, sub-
    divisional fencing, and half-share in boundary-fencing, valued
    at £250.

Land in Taranaki Land District for Selection on Optional
Tenures.

District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 26th May, 1936.
Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned section
is open for selection on optional tenures under the
Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the
District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to
4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 22nd June, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at
the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on
Wednesday, 24th June, 1936, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if
any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by
any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

Applicants are required to produce for inspection when
examined documentary evidence of their financial position,
such as bank passbooks, certificates or letters of credit from
managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms,
or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial
assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should
state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply
guarantees of their own financial position.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of
the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant
is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a
deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken period
rent, lease and mortgage fees, and deposit in reduction of
improvement loading.
