Small lots of goods of Classes A, B, C, and D from Auckland or Newmarket to stations Rukuhia - Te Awamutu (inclusive) will be charged pro rata of the local or classified rates, as the case may be, instead of under Regulation 71, General Scale of Charges ; minimum charge, 1s. 6d.

Levin Taonui or Feilding Log timber 2s. 3d. per 100 superficial feet, subject to the minimum loads per wagon as provided for in Regulation 75, General Scale of Charges.

Exceptions.—Pianos, plate glass, motor-cars in cases, household removals, aeroplanes, boats, empty tanks, creamery and freezing vats, theatrical luggage and scenery, show exhibits, side-shows, contractors’ plant, all vehicles, agricultural machinery, any package exceeding 5 cwt. in weight in the case of Palmerston North, and 7 cwt. in weight in the case of Otaki, Levin, and Shannon, or 20 ft. in length, or involving special cartage arrangements, benzine, kerosene, and similar oils.

Greytown, Carterton, and Woodville Auckland, Frankton Junction, and stations on Branch lines from Frankton Junction Cherries, raspberries, and asparagus (packed), and forwarded from Palmerston North in the guard’s van of the 3 p.m. Wellington-Auckland express train when accommodation is available in the guard’s van of this train Double the rates as specified in paragraph 5, Regulation 85, General Scale of Charges.
Napier Any station North Island Main Line and Branches Sheep dip, packed Class D.
