EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate
of title, Vol. 350, folio 138 (Canterbury Registry), for
Lot 4, Deposit Plan 6066, part of Rural Section 252, situated
in the City of Christchurch, whereof MARION EMMA
COOMBS, of Christchurch, Widow, is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me for the
issue of a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby
give notice that it is my intention to issue such new certificate of title accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days
from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL ORDER MAKING AND LEVYING A CONSOLIDATED RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by section 7 of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1934, and
of all other powers it thereto enabling, the Waipa County
Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows :-
"(1) That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
(including interest, sinking fund, and repayments of principal)
payable in respect of its non-convertible securities issued in
respect of the several loans mentioned in the first column
of the schedule hereto (such loans being not subject to Part II
of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33), the said Waipa County Council hereby
makes and levies in lieu of the several special rates mentioned
in the second column of the said schedule, by which such
non-convertible securities are secured, a consolidated rate on
the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable
property within the county. Such rate shall be made and
levied on a differential basis for the several ridings of the
county as follows :-
"(a) On all rateable property in the Newcastle Riding,
a special rate of 0·2430d. in the pound.
"(b) On all rateable property in the Hamilton Riding,
a special rate of 0·2268d. in the pound.
"(c) On all rateable property in the Rukuhia Riding, a
special rate of 0·2268d. in the pound.
"(d) On all rateable property in the Tuhikaramaea Riding,
a special rate of 0·2429d. in the pound.
"(e) On all rateable property in the Pukekura Riding, a
special rate of 0·2764d. in the pound.
"(f) On all rateable property in the Kaipaki Riding, a
special rate of 0·2746d. in the pound.
"(g) On all rateable property in the Mangapiko Riding,
a special rate of 0·2329d. in the pound.
"(h) On all rateable property in the Rangiaohia Riding,
a special rate of 0·2677d. in the pound.
"(i) On all rateable property in the Orakau Riding, a
special rate of 0·2403d. in the pound.
"(j) On all rateable property in the Kakepuku Riding,
a special rate of 0·5412d. in the pound.
"The said consolidated rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such securities and be payable
yearly on the first day of July in each and every year until
such securities are fully paid off,"
