NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—PORTLAND ISLAND.
Direction-finding Signals: Amended Times.
Previous Notice: No. 1 of 1936.
Position: Lat., 39° 18′ S.; long., 177° 53′ E. (approx.).
Details: On and after the 1st June signals will be sent at midnight, 4, 8, and 9.10 a.m., noon, 4, and 8 p.m.
Requests should be made to ZLW before 9 a.m. for the 9.10 and noon signals, and before 3.30 p.m. for the 4 p.m., 8 p.m., midnight, 4, and 8 a.m. signals.
On Sundays and holidays all requests should be made before 9 a.m. for signals between 9.10 a.m. and 8 a.m. the following morning.

Mooring-buoy to be re-established.
Position: 304°, 450 ft. from the northern end of Point Howard Wharf. Lat., 41° 15′.1 S.; long., 174° 54′ E. (approx.).
Details: A black can mooring-buoy will shortly be laid in the above position. No further notice will be given.

Notice that Land is Vested in the Public Trustee pursuant to Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908.

WHEREAS by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 17th day of October, 1935, and in the Hokitika Guardian on the 17th day of January, 1936, the 25th day of January, 1936, and the 3rd day of February, 1936, the Public Trustee did call upon the owners of all those parcels of land containing in all 47 acres 0 roods 26 perches, more or less, being, firstly, part of Section 1837, Block XI, Okarito Survey District, containing 20 acres 3 roods 25 perches, and being the balance of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 9, folio 204 (Westland Registry), in the names of Frederick William Lahman, Auctioneer, and Henry Julius Hilman Wolters, Commission Agent, both of Greymouth, trustees of Richard Canavan by virtue of the provisions of the Debtors and Creditors Act, 1875; and, secondly, the part remaining of Section 1248, Block XI, Okarito Survey District, after certain portions have been taken for cemetery and road reserves comprising 26 acres 1 rood 1 perch in the names of Christopher Mace and Richard Canavan as tenants in common in equal shares under an unregistered Crown Grant within six months of the date of publication of the said notice in the New Zealand Gazette to establish their title to the said lands to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee, and stated in such notice that if the said owners did not do so the Public Trustee would exercise with regard to the said lands all the powers and authorities granted to the Public Trustee in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments: And whereas the owners of the said lands have not established their title thereto to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee: And whereas the value of the said lands is less than £500:

Now, the Public Trustee gives notice pursuant to the provisions of section 67 (d) of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, as amended by the provisions of section 38 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, that the said lands are vested in the Public Trustee and will be administered under the provisions of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.
