Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman, Glen Eden Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD.

Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Town District of Glen Eden taken on the 22nd day of April, 1936, on the proposal of the Glen Eden Town Board to borrow the sum of three thousand five hundred pounds (£3,500) for the purpose of erecting a Town Hall,——

Votes.
The number of votes for the proposal was .. 110
The number of votes against the proposal was .. 109

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Reciprocity between New Zealand and Western Samoa and the Territory of New Guinea in the matter of Enforcement of Maintenance Orders.

IT is hereby notified for public information that reciprocity in the matter of the enforcement of maintenance orders has been established between New Zealand and Western Samoa and the Territory of New Guinea by the Maintenance Orders (New Zealand) (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance, 1936, passed by the Legislative Council for the Territory and assented to by the Administrator of the Territory of New Guinea on 26th February, 1936.

Approval of Testing Officers under the Motor-drivers’ Regulations, 1931.

IN terms of Regulation 5 of the Motor-drivers’ Regulations, 1931, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve until further notice of the persons named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being Testing Officers under the said regulations for the local authorities specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

Classification of Streets in Taradale Town District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Taradale Town Board’s proposed classification of the streets described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Taradale Town District.

SCHEDULE.

TARADALE TOWN DISTRICT.

STREETS classified in Class Two: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 8 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 12 tons:—

Napier-Hastings via Fernhill Main Highway No. 28 (all that portion within Taradale Town District).
Taradale-Rissington Main Highway No. 29 (all that portion within Taradale Town District).

STREETS classified in Class Two: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 8 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 12 tons:—

Mangateretere-Havelock North Main Highway No. 416 (all that portion within Havelock North Town District).
Hastings-Waimarama Main Highway No. 527 (all that portion within Havelock North Town District).

Classification of Road in Taranaki County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Taranaki County Council’s proposed alteration in the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Taranaki County.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI COUNTY.

ROAD classified in Class Five: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 3 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons:—

Mangorei Road (all that portion from a point opposite the north-western corner of part Section 128, Block V, Egmont Survey District, to its junction with the radius-line).
