SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land situate in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, in Block XIII, Waihua Survey District, containing by admeasurement nine decimal one (9·1) perches, more or less, being part of Block 4, Mohaka Crown Grant District, and being also Lot numbered 4 on plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Napier under No. 4129, and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title recorded in the Hawke’s Bay District Land Registry in H.B. Volume 80, folio 255, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the Napier–Wairoa Main Road a distance of 1091·4 links south-east along the northern side of that road from its intersection with the western boundary of Block 4, Mohaka Crown Grant District; thence towards the north-west by other part of Block 4, Mohaka Crown Grant District, 194·8 and 44 links; thence towards the north-east by other part of the said Block 4, Mohaka Crown Grant District, 44 links; thence towards the south-east, south-west, and again towards the south-east by other part of Block 4, Mohaka Crown Grant District aforesaid, 44, 25·8, and 216·7 links respectively; thence again towards the south-west by the Napier–Wairoa Main Road 28·5 links to the point of commencement.

Officer authorized to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that Harry Edgar Wells, being an officer in the service of the Crown holding the office of Custodian of Plans, Lands and Deeds Office, at Auckland, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of May, 1936.

Warrant authorizing the Taranaki County Council to construct a Road in Block V, Paritutu Survey District, and apportioning the Cost.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section one hundred and eighteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Taranaki County Council to construct the road described in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that the cost thereof shall be borne by the New Plymouth Borough Council; and I do further direct that the cost hereby required to be borne as aforesaid by the New Plymouth Borough Council shall be paid from time to time to the Taranaki County Council out of the funds of the New Plymouth Borough Council within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Taranaki County Council, and all such payments shall be made from time to time to the Clerk of the Taranaki County Council for and on behalf of the New Plymouth Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in Block V, Paritutu Survey District, Taranaki County, Taranaki Land District, commencing on the southern boundary of the Henui Stream adjoining Section 50, Grey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally for a distance of 27 chains, more or less, and terminating on the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 5016, Fitzroy District. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91503, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, red, and blue.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 29th day of April, 1936.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Ohakune Borough Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Ohakune Borough Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:—

  1. The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

  2. The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

  3. The said Council shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.

SCHEDULE.

OHAKUNE SCENIC RESERVE.—WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

Suburban Section No. 40, Town of Ohakune: Area, 4 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less.

Suburban Section No. 33, Town of Ohakune: Area, 7 acres 2 roods 12·8 perches, more or less.

Suburban Section No. 34, Town of Ohakune: Area, 15 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of May, 1936.

Vesting the Control of Reserves in the Pongaroa Scenic Board under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the sixteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the Pongaroa Scenic Board, as constituted by notification dated the seventeenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in Gazette of the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block V, Town of Pongaroa: Area, 3 acres, more or less.

Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13, Block VIII, Town of Pongaroa: Area, 1 acre 1 rood, more or less.
