KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the
Kawhia County Loans Conversion Order, 1935, the Kawhia
County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
"That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund,
and other charges on the new securities authorized to be
issued by the Kawhia County Council under the above-
mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities
issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to
that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other
charges in respect of the unconverted securities issued in
respect of such loans, the said Kawhia County Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of twopence three-farthings
(2½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of
the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such securities and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year until
the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of
March, 1961, or until all such securities are fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the above resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Kawhia County Council held on the
4th day of April, 1936.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of M. R. SPIERS, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company
on Wednesday, 8th April, 1936, passed a resolution
for a creditors’ voluntary winding up as the company cannot
by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and appointing
ERIC SOUTER, of Greymouth, Public Accountant, as liquidator.
All persons, firms, or companies having claims against the
above-named company are required to send full particulars
thereof to the undersigned on or before the 30th June, 1936,
otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any
distribution of assets.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED STOPPING OF ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given by the Waitemata County Council
that it is proposed to stop, under the provisions of the
Public Works Act, 1928, the following road in the County of
Waitemata.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of portions of road to be stopped:
1 road 28-3 perches.
Adjoining portion Lots 6 and 7 (D.P. 8837) of S.E. Allotment
7a, Parish of Waipareira; coloured green.
Situated in Block V, Titirangi Survey District, Registration
District of Auckland, County of Waitemata, Parish of
Waipareira. (S.O. plan 28243.)
And notice is further given that the plan of the said road
is on view and open to public inspection at the Waitemata
County Council Office during office hours: And notice is
also hereby given that all persons affected by the stopping of
the road who have any well-grounded objection should set
forth the same in writing and forward such writing within
forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to
the County Council Office, corner Shortland and Princes
Streets, Auckland.
