At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of April, 1936.

THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Hawke’s Bay County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped : 3 roods 15·3 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 10 and 11, D.P. 3116, Lot 6, D.P. 2449, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 2725, and Lot 3, D.P. 2726, being parts Havelock Suburban Sections 35 and 36.
Situated in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1103, green.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 9146I, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Open Seasons for the taking or killing of Opossums in certain Acclimatization Districts.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of April, 1936.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that opossums may be taken or killed within the acclimatization districts specified in the Schedule hereto, except in any sanctuary other than a scenic reserve, subject in all cases to the general regulations made by Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and to the special conditions specified in connection with each district.
