Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in the County of Waitaki, at Deborah.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waitaki County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 9·74 perches, 7·61 perches, and 3 roods 37·23 perches.

Parts of railway land (parts of Sections 64 and 41), Block IV, Oamaru Survey District, Waitaki County. (S.O. O 225.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3999, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow and sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1936.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4060, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
