ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL.

I, ARCHIBALD LAING CAMPBELL, Chairman of the Eltham County Council, do hereby certify that, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Eltham County Council held on the 21st day of December, 1935, and confirmed on the 6th day of January, 1936, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of new securities in conversion of the existing securities in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule of the Eltham County Loans Conversion Order, 1935, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 91 of the 6th day of December, 1935, at page 3719.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a public work—namely, the construction of a public road through Mataitai No. 1A 2B 2 and Mataitai No. 1A 2B 1B 1 Blocks—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said road and of the land required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Manukau County Council, Council Chambers, corner of Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland: And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or by the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Manukau County Council at the above address.

SCHEDULE.

Firstly, 30 perches, being part of Mataitai No. 1A 2B 2 Block, situate in Blocks IV and VIII, Wairoa Survey District, and shown coloured blue on the said plan.

Secondly, 1 rood 34·7 perches, being part of Mataitai No. 1A 2B 1B 1 Block, situate in Block IV, Wairoa Survey District, and shown coloured red on the said plan.

NOTICE is hereby given that Suits Limited has changed its name to Peter Jackson, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution of the above-named company was duly passed by entry in the company’s minute-book signed by all the members of the company on the 11th day of December, 1935:—

“Resolved that it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, and that JOHN STUART McINNES, of Dunedin, Accountant, be nominated as liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and amendments thereto, by the Waitemata County Council to execute certain public works, viz., the construction of a road through Waikoukou No. 2 Block, Ururua No. 2A, Maramatawhana “B” Blocks, Block VI, Kumeu S.D., and shown on S.O. plan 28115, and for the purpose of such public works the land described in the schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and the land required to be taken, is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Waitemata County Council, corner Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland: And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public works or by the taking of such lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of such public works or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within (40) forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the County Council Office, Auckland.
