And whereas the Legislative Council and the House
of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the
twenty-fourth and the twenty-fifth days of October, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, approved the
proposed revocation as aforesaid:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by sub-
section one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation
for recreation purposes over the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the
said land, being vested in the body corporate called the
Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christ-
church, may be disposed of by the said body corporate
by way of sale by public auction or private contract at
such price and on such terms and conditions as the said
body corporate shall determine, but so that the proceeds
of any such sale shall be used and applied in or towards
recouping the said body corporate for the moneys ex-
pended by it in the purchase for recreation purposes
of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 roods
4·7 perches, more or less, being Lots 44 and 45, Deposit
Plan 10370, and being part Rural Section 98, situated in
the City of Christchurch, and bounded as follows:
Towards the north-west by Darley Street, 117·6 links;
towards the north-east by Lots 46 and 47, Deposit Plan
10370, 734·7 links; towards the south-east by Ashgrove
Terrace, 106·3 links; and again towards the south-west
by Lots 42 and 43, Deposit Plan 10370, 756·6 links.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1/975, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres
0 roods 33·7 perches, more or less, being Lots 35 and 36
on a plan numbered 1885 and deposited in the office of
the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being
part of Rural Section 98, City of Christchurch, and
being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title,
Volume 237, folio 214.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Resting-place for Travelling
Stock in the Amuri County Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 8th day of
January, 1936.

Present:

THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
an area permanently reserved for a resting-place for
travelling stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control
of the said reserve should be vested in the Amuri County
Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control
of the said reserve in the Amuri County Council.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 4290, Block II, Lyndon Survey District: Area,
4 acres 0 roods 14 perches, more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Ashley County Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 8th day of
January, 1936.

Present:

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart for a site for county build-
ings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General,
it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashley:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the
Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Coun-
cillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashley, in trust, for
a site for county buildings.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 4350, Block II, Rangiora Survey District: Area,
1 acre 0 roods 28·8 perches, more or less.

Vesting Reserves in the Lower Hutt Borough Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule
hereto has been duly set apart for a pumping-station
site: And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto has been duly set apart for a public-hall site: And
whereas the land described in the Third Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart for recreation purposes: And whereas,
in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to
vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of Lower Hutt:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the
First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto shall become vested
in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of
Lower Hutt, in trust, for a pumping-station site, a public-
hall site, and for recreation purposes respectively.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 301, Block IX, Hutt Valley Settlement, Block XIV,
Belmont Survey District: Area, 0·83 perches.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 149, Block I, Hutt Valley Settlement, Block XIV,
Belmont Survey District: Area, 1 acre 21 perches.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 60, Block L, Hutt Valley Settlement, Block XIV,
Belmont Survey District: Area, 3 acres 3 roods 31·6 perches.
