SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.
Waimarino County.—Manganui Survey District.
PART Section 5, Block X: Area, 397 acres. Upset annual rental, £5 12s. 6d.
Improvements included in rental value comprise 54 chains of fencing.
This section is situated on the right bank of the Manganui-O-te-Ao Stream, thirteen miles and a half from Raetihi Railway-station by twelve miles metalled road and one mile and a half formed clay road. Approximately 200 acres in standing bush and 197 acres reverted to fern and second growth. Approximately 50 acres are undulating, the balance running to high and broken ridges, inclined to be shady. The bush consists principally of rimu, matai, and tawhero. The soil is of light quality loam resting on sandstone and papa formation; permanently watered by streams.

Fencing improvements on the sections are included in the rental value of the land.
These sections are situated in Hanmer Township, Section 1 with frontage to Jollies Pass Road, and the remaining sections with frontages to Scarborough Terrace. Each section contains a building-site. The sections, which are mostly covered with broom, are in close proximity to the existing township, school, post-office, and to all the sport and health facilities that the township offers. Hanmer is situated ninety-three miles from Christchurch, and is reached by regular daily train and motor services.
Term of Lease: Twenty-one years with right of renewal for further terms with rentals based on fresh valuations under the provisions of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.
A condition of the lease is that buildings to the value of £250 must be erected on the section within twelve months of the date of lease.
Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained at the office of the undersigned.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for lease by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 15th April, 1936, under the provisions of the Hanmer Crown Leases Act, 1928.

Lands in Auckland, Gisborne, Taranaki, Wellington, and Westland Land Districts forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Land Boards of the respective land districts, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1935, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.
