CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Education Reserve in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 3rd March, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 15th April, 1936, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.

Waitemata County.—Pukeatua Parish.

ALLOTMENT 119: Area, 108 acres. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.

This section is situated one mile from White Hills School, five miles from Silverdale Post-office and store, and eight miles from Kaukapakapa Railway-station. Access is from Silverdale by four miles of metalled road, half a mile formed clay road, and half a mile unformed road. Hilly to broken land, approximately one-third ploughable. Whole area is in fern, hakea, and gorse, with exception of 4 acres of bush comprising puriri and kauri, &c. Soil of poor quality clay resting on sandstone; poorly watered by swampy streams. Altitude, 350 ft. to 525 ft. above sea-level.

Special Conditions.

The section is considered to be suitable for selection by an adjoining owner, and in the event of any other person being the selector an indemnity will be required absolving the Crown from any liability in connection with providing any better access.

The lessee shall have no right to cut, fell, or remove any of the timber standing or lying on the land without first obtaining the consent of the Land Board which may be given subject to such conditions, including the payment of royalties, as the Board thinks fit.

Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained at the office of the undersigned.
