Animals Protection and Game Regulations, 1930 (Amendment No. 2).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred on him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations by way of amendment to the Animals Protection and Game Regulations, 1930 (hereinafter called “the principal regulations”).

REGULATIONS.

  1. These regulations may be cited as the Animals Protection and Game Regulations, 1930, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and form part of the principal regulations.

  2. Clause (3) of Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by adding thereto the following proviso :-

“Provided that in the Auckland Acclimatization District licenses authorizing the holder thereof to take or kill both imported game and native game shall be in the form No. 1a in the Schedule hereto.”

  1. Clause (6) of the said Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by adding thereto the following proviso :-

“Provided that in the Auckland Acclimatization District the fee payable for a license to take or kill both imported game and native game shall be twenty-five shillings (25s.).”

  1. The Schedule to the principal regulations is hereby amended by adding thereto after form No. 1 the following form :-

“[Form No. 1a.

LICENSE TO TAKE OR KILL IMPORTED GAME AND NATIVE GAME IN THE AUCKLAND ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT ONLY.

“ , of , having this day paid the sum of twenty-five shillings (25s.) is hereby authorized to take or kill within the Acclimatization District of Auckland from the day of , 19 , to the day of , 19 (both days inclusive), subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22.

“This license does not authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game or native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, or on any land excepted from the operation of the notification declaring an open season for the district.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in Manurewa Parish, North Auckland Land District, for other Land.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is a reserve for road purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems at least of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

North Auckland Land District.

All that area in the Manukau County, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 15-7 perches, more or less, being Lot 293 (road reserve) on D.P. 19612, being portion of Allotment 68, Parish of Manurewa. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 25/701a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.

North Auckland Land District.

All that area in the Manukau County, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 14-4 perches, more or less, being Lot 47 and parts Lots 46 and 48 on D.P. 19612, being portions of Allotment 68, Parish of Manurewa: Bounded commencing at a point on Thurnatoo Parade, now Watia Road, distant 70-9 links from the north-western corner of the other portion of Lot 46 aforesaid; towards the north by Watia Road aforesaid, distance 130-9 links, bearing 81° 07'; towards the east generally by the other portion of Lot 48 aforesaid by lines distance 28-3 links, bearing 216° 07', 370-9 links, bearing 171° 07'; towards the south by a foreshore reserve and towards the west generally by the other portion of Lot 46 aforesaid by lines distance 328-1 links, bearing 351° 07', distance 28-3 links, bearing 306° 07', to the point of commencement; be all the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 25/701a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in the Wyndham Survey District, Southland Land District.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for quarry purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
