Reappointment of Licensing Authorities in terms of the Transport Licensing Act, 1931.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Licensing Act, 1931, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby appoint the licensing authorities described in the Schedule hereto for a term commencing on the 29th day of February, 1936, and expiring on the 31st day of March, 1936, and I do hereby appoint as Chairman of the respective authority the person indicated in the Schedule as being the Chairman.

Kaitaia Swamp Drainage Area: Penalty on Overdue Rates.

IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, and its amendments, the ratepayers within the rating areas constituted by the last-mentioned Acts are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the year ending 31st March, 1936, unpaid on 14th March, 1936.
Rates may be paid at any money-order office on presentation of the original demand, or to the Collector of Rates, Box 1659, Auckland, C. 1.

IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Hauraki Plains Act, 1926, the ratepayers within the district constituted by the last-mentioned Act are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the year ending 31st March, 1936, unpaid on 4th March, 1936.
Rates may be paid at any money-order office on presentation of the original demand, or to the Collector of Rates, Box 1659, Auckland, C. 1.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Road of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Fendalton Extension No. 47, affecting part Rural Section 880, Block XI, Christchurch Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Royds Street shown therein should be of the width of 66 ft.:
Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such roads of a width of not less than 60 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
