Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Prebbleton Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1936.
Present:
THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Frederick William Carpenter, Leonard Alexander Gallagher, John Hartnell, George Hancock, William Downey, John William O'Neill, Herbert George Prebble, James Richard Hill, and James Porteous Barr to be the Prebbleton Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion, Prebbleton, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
PREBBLETON DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 2419, Block XIII, Christchurch Survey District : Area, 3 acres 2 roods 15 perches. Also Reserve 3996, formerly part of Rural Section 1488, Block XIII, Christchurch Survey District : Area, 7 acres 1 rood 7 perches.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1936.

THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint George Alexander Brabant, Alexander Campbell Sutherland, William George Howat, Charles William Loane, Charles Samuel Armstrong, Clement Arthur Suckling, and James Christopher Wadmore to be the Eivers Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Whakatane, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

EIVERS DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 8, Block II, Whakatane Survey District : Area, 4 acres 0 roods 35 perches. Also Section 9, Block II, Whakatane Survey District : Area, 11 acres 3 roods 20 perches.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Helensville under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1936.
Present :
THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 1 acre 0 roods 26 perches and 4:3 perches.
Portions of railway land (parts Otamateanui Block), Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District. (S.O. 11727, blue.) In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3561, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Order in Council varying the Determinations in respect of the Balance (£130,000) of the Dunedin City Council's Loan of £180,000 by prescribing Repayment on the Instalment-repayment system.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1936.
Present:
THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Dunedin City Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of one hundred and eighty thousand pounds (£180,000) by a loan to be known as “Waterworks Loan, 1933” (hereinafter called “the said loan”):
And whereas the sum of one hundred and thirty thousand pounds (£130,000) (hereinafter called “the said sum”), being the balance of the said loan, has not yet been raised, and it is expedient to vary the determinations aforesaid in respect thereof by prescribing repayment on the instalment-repayment system:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said sum by prescribing that the said local authority may, in lieu of making provision for the repayment thereof by the establishment of a sinking fund, raise the said sum or any part thereof upon terms of making the same, together with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum, repayable by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over a period of twenty-five (25) years.
